Description

This is a mince of fresh vegetables, with spices and herbs, prepared by hand in the farm's own workshop.

Ingredients:

  • carrots;
  • extra virgin olive oil;
  • onion;
  • celery;
  • salt;
  • lemon juice;
  • garlic;
  • spices and herbs in varying proportions (coriander, chives, rosemary, sage, pepper).

      Preservative- and color-free.

      Pairings

      It is a genuine ready-to-use preparation, ideal for:

      • making meat sauce (put in a pan with minced meat)
      • making sauce (in a frying pan with a sauce)
      • making broth (just pour it into a pot with water)
      • making soup (add to legumes)


      Once the jar has been opened, the product can be kept in the refrigerator at +5 °C for up to 1-2 weeks. During consumption, it is recommended to add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil on the surface to keep the product covered.

        Growing vegetables

        Casa Iuorio's vegetables are the result of sustainable agriculture, with a zero-meter chain. They are grown in the open field and without the use of chemicals, on their land in Palomonte (SA). Harvesting is done by hand, without the use of mechanical means.

        Processing

        After the harvest, Casa Iuorio farm takes care of the processing, in the workshop next to the fields.

        The vegetables are selected by choosing only those that are ripe at the right point, washed under running water, and then prepared by the expert hands of suitably trained local women. Immediately after the harvest. The jars are also prepared by hand, right up to the labeling.
