The cultivation of Uva di Troia in the north of Apulia dates back a long time ago. It is the result of the tenacity and strength of the winemakers who in the past years have kept the winemaking traditions of this area intact. Frederick II of Swabia had already praised the great qualities of this vine and he deeply loved its fruit.
After vinification and fermentation, the contact with the skins for a duration of about 36 hours produces a bright pink wine that express, at the same time, the delicate aromas of cherry and raspberry, combining a savory fresh taste with a pleasant acidity.
Thanks to the versatility it goes perfectly with fish and meat appetizers, medium structured pasta dishes, white meats. Amazing combination with pizza.
