Chilli Powder obtained solely by the Erotico variety of the Capsicum baccatum cultivated in organic/ biodynamic regime and dried at low temperatures.
The scent of the Erotico, variety of the species Capsicum baccatum, it’s characterized by the intense fruity/vegetal with floral touches that remind of orange blossoms or bitter orange peels.
It enhances perfectly the flavour of goat and sheep cheese and it pairs well with molluscs and crustacean based dishes or carpaccio. It can also go with white meats, boiled beef, fish and vegetable stews, quiches, and strawberry sorbet.
This chilli pepper has earned itself the name Erotico (Erotic) thanks to its oblong shape, as the part opposite the petiole resembles a phallus. When ripe, the colouration of the chilli is gold with some shades tending to orange.
The spiciness level doesn’t go above 3000 SHU.
Particular low temperature techniques of humidity extraction have been employed for the production of this powder, making it possible to keep unaltered the original scent of the chilli pepper.
