This chicory and bean soup, part of the rural tradition of the Molise region, is excellent as a single dish. The addition of a drizzle of raw olive oil enhances the flavor. Also perfect on bread croutons.
In the pot: place the pot in a bain-marie and heat for 2-3 minutes. Add a little water if desired to dilute it. Or remove the cap and pour the contents into the pot. Heat over low heat for a few minutes, adding a little water to dilute.
In the microwave: remove the cap and heat the product at maximum power for 2 minutes, excluding the grill function; then place it on a plate and enjoy.
