Banana Pepper chilli powder, delicately spicy with a slight scent of caper. Excellent for enhancing marine and vegetable salinities. It is used by sprinkling it on fish carpaccio, salads or cooked vegetables.
Powder obtained exclusively from the Banana Pepper variety of the Capsicum annuum species grown organically and dried in the cold and in the dark.

Banana Pepper has a multitude of vegetal smells and flavors reminiscent of grilled pepper and the fruit of the caper in brine with shades of marine salinity.
Considering its delicate spiciness it goes very well with raw fish such as, for example, carpaccio, but also sautéed clams, fresh tropical fruit and the filling of the club sandwich. Its particular sweetness accompanies both fruit ice cream and whipped cream.

Banana Pepper belongs to the Capsicum annuum species. In the millenary history of chilli, this variety has a relatively short life, as the first traces date back to 1923 when it was imported from Hungary to the United States.

The fruit reaches about 10cm, initially has a yellow-green color that becomes an intense yellow and thanks to its characteristic elongated and curved shape it has earned, by analogy, the name of "banana".

Its degree of spiciness is among the lowest and can vary between 100 and 500 SHU.

During the production process of this powder, particular techniques of cold humidity extraction were adopted, allowing to keep the characteristic aromas of chilli pepper as unaltered as possible.

Among the various healthy microelements, the Banana Pepper also contains Vitamin A which helps keep eyes, hair and skin in perfect health and above all it contains Vitamin C, which not only stops the spread of free radicals, but is useful and necessary. to strengthen the barriers of the immune system, lowering the risk of cancer by inhibiting the synthesis of carcinogenic substances. Furthermore, recent studies scientifically confirm that using chili peppers in our diet at least 4 times a week halves the risk of heart attack.
