Cascina Bosco Maggiore is a family-run farm, founded in 1918 on the outskirts of Alba. Surrounded by the green rolling hills of the Langhe, part of the Unesco heritage, for three generations this farm has entirely dedicated itself to the cultivation of the prestigious hazelnut known as the Tonda Gentile Tribolata, following the utmost criteria of environmental quality and safety. In 2016 the siblings Katia and Marco decided to follow in the footsteps of the century-old family activity, whilst choosing to independently process their hazelnuts. Every step of the process is personally carried out whilst following the strict control parameters concerning quality, productivity and analysis. The product is entirely certified as “NOCCIOLA PIEMONTE I.G.P. DELLE LANGHE” which is recognised as the best in the world for its excellence in taste and flavour. The denomination I.G.P. (Protected Geographical Indication) guarantees the quality and authenticity of the product.
The hazelnut, commonly ranked among dried fruit, is rich in oleic acid (important for preventing vascular disorders), vitamin E and natural antioxidants which slow down the skin's ageing process. Inside our laboratory, different products are created that all share the unique taste which derives from the high-quality ingredients. They aim to guarantee a product that reflects our passion and values, offering a combination of the flavours born from our land and our work.
